About this piece
A small woven hair charm made to tuck into a bridal bouquet or sew inside a dress hem - a modern 'something old' carrying a loved one into the wedding day. Handmade to order in my Nova Scotia studio, in the Victorian hairwork tradition. You send me a small lock of hair, and I weave it by hand into a keepsake you can wear every day. HOW IT WORKS: 1) Place your order. 2) You will receive mailing instructions with a prepaid label (US and Canada). 3) Mail your hair in a regular envelope. 4) I confirm arrival with a photo and begin weaving. 5) Your finished piece ships back with tracking. Please allow 1-2 weeks for making once your hair arrives.
